Uniseed is a venture fund operating at the Universities of Melbourne, Queensland, Sydney & New South Wales, and the CSIRO, with investment capital provided by the five partner research organisations. Since October 2000, our mandate has been to facilitate the commercialisation of research partner-generated intellectual property by targeted investment in highly promising technologies. Uniseed’s partner research organisations spent nearly $4 billion on research, making up over 40% of the total research spend at 67 research organisations in Australia.
