What is DocketRockit?
DocketRockit is the new way for digital receipting. We are solving several problems that exist with the current method of both paper and digital receipts. Firstly, with paper receipting, there are over 150,000 trees used for the 11 billion paper receipts printed in Australia every year, on top of this, paper receipts are easily lost, faded and difficult to locate quickly. Finally, because of the ink and type of paper used, 90% of these receipts are unable to be recycled, meaning that these trees are wasted.
Digital receipts help with the problem of using up our environment, however, the current methods of digital receipts don’t solve many consumer problems. Stores are requesting consumer details, such as emails or phone numbers, many of whom don’t want to hand these over, and even when you do get digital receipts, they are either links in emails or messages, and not in a centralised repository, meaning, when it comes to tax time, warranties, or simple management, collating these receipts is not simple.
DocketRockit is solving these issues, but creating a new centralised repository of digital receipts for both in-store and online purchases. Working with the retailers, DocketRockit uses will scan their barcode, or tap their phone, and the retailers will simply send their receipt information to us, and we will display the receipts easily for them. The stores will no longer have the consumer information, rather it will be stored safely and securely on our systems. We will be integrating with the retailers directly, making life simple for the consumer.
Our business model is simple, a small commission on each transaction, will fund the product, similar to how retailers already pay the credit card companies or other payment vendors. In return, we offer savings to retailers on printers, paper, maintenance, returns processes, and provide them with the ultimate data of sales across the industries via demographics. Finally, and most importantly for retailers, we allow them to accelerate their ESG targets.
