Identified a Pressing Need: Recognized the growing crisis of nurse shortages during pandemics and the untapped potential of support workers to fill critical roles. Conducted research to validate the importance of a scalable, trained workforce to ensure care continuity. Concept Development: Developed the initial vision for a Pandemic-Ready Workforce Platform, combining training, AI-driven workforce matching, and integration with systems like NDIS. Initial Stakeholder Engagement: Begun discussions with healthcare providers, aged care networks, and NDIS-aligned organizations to understand their needs and challenges. Received positive feedback from potential partners, validating the relevance of our solution. Core Team Formation: Secured early advisory support to guide strategy and execution. Looking Ahead While we are in the pre-launch phase, our commitment is unwavering. The groundwork we’ve laid positions us to make significant strides in the coming months. Our focus is now on securing funding to: Build and test our platform with key pilot partners. Develop a scalable training program for support workers. Establish collaborations with healthcare and disability care networks.
