A founder recently shared this quote with me – one meeting is a point in time, two meetings is a gradient and three meetings is a curve. Might be a bit philosophical but speaks to the value of having regular touchpoints – both as it gives investors a sense of how a company executes, and because it allows founders to make higher quality decisions on who they're adding to their cap table.

The number one reason the majority of companies don’t raise capital successfully often comes down to one thing… building and nurturing people to become supporters and advocates in your network before you choose to raise capital.
