What is InfigoLabs?

Instead of centuries old method of making steam by heating water in metal tubes (metal creates temperature limits) and using air for combustion (wasting energy heating up 78% nitrogen in air), our technology drastically slows down the explosive reaction between hydrogen and oxygen in ceramic-lined reactor to produce very high-temperature heat, completely decarbonising the hard-to-abate sector. The exhaust then comprises of pure steam, which after imparting heat to the process, condenses to steam: eliminating the chimney stack. This approach uniquely unlocks value in decarbonising.

InfigoLabs is currently focused on applications where we create value without a carbon price.
Accordingly, we are looking at two applications:

1. Complete destruction of PFAS: Hydrox Combustion Technology® uniquely creates all conditions to completely incinerate PFAS molecules, without any release of toxic fragments to the air, due to the absence of a chimney stack. Creating the very high destructive temperatures, highly turbulent reactor zone stages, providing the requisite residence time through the reactor stages, having a hydrogen-rich zone that rapidly mineralises the freed fluorine with a stabilising agent, and final oxygen-rich zones that oxidise the carbon are key enabling features. The exhaust condenses to water. Moreover, destruction using our technology costs 35% less than landfill options, when operating on standard industrial hydrogen and oxygen gas supplies.

2. InfigoLabs Hydrox Combustion Technology, when applied to ethylene (largest volume molecule humans make) production, increases ethylene yield by 15%, provides 7X high-value acetylene yield, 2X pyrolysis hydrogen and completely eliminates the currently experienced 20~60 day decoking interruptions.

We are agnostic to the source of electricity or hydrogen, making us energy-transition friendly.
InfigoLabs technology is a hydrogen-based technology that reaps the advantages this unique molecule brings (highest energy per unit mass), while moving away from its downsides (by not requiring it to be transported and not imposing a water footprint).
